For four years, I worked as a photographer for W Mag, covering couture fashion weeks — a privilege that allowed me to be in close contact with the great Maisons. The experience was both amazing and disillusioning. I was able to witness one of the most exquisite events in the world: clothing as self-expression, and couture as its ultimate art form. But at the same time, the front rows were filled with people more interested in taking selfies than in the collections.
That’s when I realized something was wrong — There’s a bug in the fashion system. That’s how Bugture was born.
